Mmm!

Like his Papi, Brock finds paletas de coco very yummy. These little coconut ice cream bars are a must have on Mom's weekly grocery list...

I love being one year old!

Now that I'm a toddler I am having so much fun. One of my favorite things to do now is push around my little car. I also like to decorate my room with baby wipes (when I think Mom's not looking, of course)...

Brushing everyday helps keep the cavities away!

Mom won't let me use toothpaste yet, but it's still fun to brush my own teeth. I have 6 of them now, you know...

Check out Brock's new ride...

Abue and Papu got me my very own radio flyer wagon. Mom says every kid's gotta have one. This one's the luxury model, complete with captain's chairs, seat belts, and cup holders. Abue says, "nothing but the best for my grandson." Oh and I almost forgot, it also has extra storage for my toys and snacks. I can ride around in this thing all day. There is even room for a friend. Wanna come along?

These are a few of my favorite things....

Sharing my snack with Papi...
Letting Papi comb my hair in funny ways (this is my Jimmy Neutron impression).
When Abue pushes me around in my little car...

Playing the bongo drums.
Exploring the house...
Pulling my toys out of my little cabinet.
Hanging out with Papi before he goes to work...

Then waiting at the door for Papi to return home.
Playing Palmitas (pat-a-cake) with my reflection..
.
Playing with Mommy's cell phone.
Looking cute for the camera...
Sleeping with Papi during a bad summer storm.
Dumping over my basket of toys first thing in the morning (hmmm...which one do I play with first?)

This video is sort of all over the place, but it's hard not to adore all the cute sounds he makes...

Brock celebrates America's Birthday...

Have baby, will travel...

Our trip to visit Aunt Jess and Uncle Joe in New Jersey went great! Jess took us to the zoo and Brock discovered all sorts of new creatures he had never seen before. Brock was especially enamored by the colorful tail of a peacock, until it squaked and then he couldn't wait to get away from it. All in all, the highlight of Brock's trip to the zoo was the little red choo-choo train that went through the woods and along the lake. I can honestly say the only time I have ever seen Brock that still and quiet is when he's asleep. Who knows, maybe he'll grow up to be a locomotive engineer....

Notice the baby mohawk...

The mohawk is losing shape, but check out the giant snake in the tank behind them...

Can you say Zoolander?

Here are just a few of the many looks of Brock Michael, future male model of the year...

This one's called Magnum...

This one's called Blue Steel...
This one's called The Owen Wilson...
This one's called Diablo...
This one's called The Lady Killer...

And my favorite game is....

PIC-A-BOO, I SEE YOU...

Brock thinks it's really funny to cover his face with anything he can find. Then he waits to hear Mommy saying "Brocky, where are are you? I can't see you, Brock!" He finds this very amusing and I can actually hear muffled giggles as he think he's fooling his ol' mom.

Yummy!!!

Eating like a big boy is fun now that Brock is close to mastering feeding himself...

I love to play with my Papi!

Brock has so much fun wrestling with and climbing all over his Papi....

Look what I can do....

As the summer begins, Brock is doing all sorts of cool stuff. He crawls, feeds himself, and uses a sippy cup. Now that he's mobile, he's fascinated with the house and I spend a big portion of our day just following him around making sure he's not getting into trouble...
